About Us
The Decatur County Amateur Radio Club, callsign KW4DC, was formed in 2009 by a group of hams who wanted to promote
the amateur radio hobby together. Our club has grown along with the interest in our community about amateur radio.
We work with Decatur County EMA to offer assistance in emergencies, such as severe weather events, which our area has
seen an increase of in recent years. We offer training classes and testing for amateur radio licenses,
visit here for more information.
The monthly club meeting is at 7pm on every second Monday of the month, at the Decatur County EOC building,
located at 66 West 2nd Street,
Parsons, TN. Our meetings are open to the public, we encourage and welcome anyone interested in amateur radio to attend.
The club holds a training net every Thursday night at 7pm on the Decaturville repeater, 443.325, + offset, 131.8 PL tone.
All area hams are requested and encouraged to participate.
If you are interested in amateur radio and would like to become a member of the club, download the member application
